Natural Sciences Department

The Department of Natural Sciences is one of the most important departments in Ecole Normale Supérieure de Kouba. Students are formed by a staff of competent professors. Natural sciences specialty is one of the most highly selected disciplines by new baccalaureate students, so admission rates are frequently high. New students admitted to this specialty must pass an oral interview conducted by committees of department professors. Students are tested on their mental and physical abilities to practice the profession of teaching natural sciences during the interview.
The formation of new students is based on the courses offered combine fundamental and transversal courses that cover the major fields of life sciences and education, with an emphasis on interdisciplinary approaches.
The department also has 14 training laboratories, each equipped with high-level experiments and training equipment.
The final level of study concludes in a graduation thesis that is closely related to the formation of students during their course of study.
