The Directorate of Doctoral Training, Scientific Research, Technological Development, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship Promotion is considered one of the most crucial components of our school ‘’École Normale Supérieure de Kouba’’, undertaking a range of vital tasks to enhance the effectiveness and excellence in higher education and scientific research. It aims to accomplish a future vision supporting the development of knowledge and innovation at both local and international levels, while creating elite capital within the social hierarchy.


The Directorate assumes the following responsibilities:

Ensuring the implementation of state policy regarding legislation governing higher education and scientific research, and achieving supervisory objectives by mobilizing human, material, and legal resources to maximize efficiency.

Supervising the preparation and management of elite student selection competitions for the preparation of master of science (previously) and doctoral studies, and following up on students enrolled in these academic programs by providing necessary support throughout their training and assisting them in presenting their theses.

Providing academic supervision for university accreditation and professorship, through continuous support for our teachers to achieve these scientific qualifications.

Providing administrative supervision and scientific consultation through scientific councils on research laboratory activities and ensuring the provision of a conducive environment for the effective and efficient implementation of research projects.

Encouraging visibility and scientific dissemination of research activities of laboratories by supporting the organization of national and international scientific conferences hosted by our school, as well as promoting the exchange of scientific experiences with foreign laboratories.

Valuing the outputs of scientific research by encouraging communication with social and economic partners to familiarize them with research activities and how to capitalize on them.
