In accordance with the Joint Ministerial Decree dated 9 Jumada Al-Thani 1439, corresponding to 25 February 2018, which defines the administrative organization of the Higher Normal School and the nature and structure of its technical departments (Official Journal, 2018, No. 17, pp. 12–15).

The Vice-Directorate for Information Systems, Communication and External Relations is responsible for the following tasks:

• Designing and producing communication materials (school newsletters, websites, etc.).

• Ensuring the integration of basic infrastructures and information networks, and promoting digitalization.

• Establishing mechanisms and procedures for collecting, processing and disseminating information within the school.

• Publishing all information related to the school through information and communication technologies.

• Ensuring the provision of online services for the benefit of students.

• Maintaining the school’s statistical database.

• Providing students with all relevant information to assist them in their academic and career orientation.

• Initiating activities that promote exchange and cooperation with other higher education institutions.

• Supporting and encouraging students in their professional development.

• Enhancing the school’s relations with its social and economic environment, and initiating partnership programmes.

• Overseeing and organizing scientific events (symposia, conferences, etc.).
